SEATTLE - Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis was scratched from tonight's
lineup because of a pain in the top of his right hand. Youkilis said he
doesn't remember how he hurt the hand, but he decided he couldn't play after
taking batting practice.

The injury, which Youkilis said he started feeling last night, is day-to-day.
