49ers RT Anthony Davis has retired.
Davis is the latest in a string of unexpected retirements for the 49ers
this offseason. A 2010 first-round pick, he plans to "take a year or so
away from the NFL," and left open the possibility of unretiring.
Losing Davis is a massive blow to the 49ers offensive line.
