繼CAPCOM「洛克人」卡通公佈之後，SEGA也宣布將於2003年4月6日起在TV東京系列
開始推出人氣遊戲「音速小子」的最新日本卡通動畫─「SonicX」，描述由於企圖
征服世界的邪惡科學家「Dr. EGGMAN」的緣故導致音速小子與伙伴一起超越時空來
到人類的世界，在人類世界中音速小子與溫柔的少年克里斯相遇，並一起出發尋找
不知道飛到哪裡去的音速小子的伙伴們，以阻止Dr. EGGMAN邪惡的野心。
