DATES ANNOUNCED FOR PARIS ST-GERMAIN GAMES

We will play Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals of this season's
Champions League with the first leg away from home.
The dates of the games are as follows:
First leg - Paris St-Germain v Chelsea is on Wednesday 2 April. The second
leg - Chelsea v Paris St-Germain at Stamford Bridge is on Tuesday 8 April.
The draw was made at UEFA headquarters in Switzerland on Friday morning UK
time, and paired us with the French champions whom we played in the group
stage in 2004/05 when we won 3-0 away in the Parc de Princes in Jose
Mourinho's first Champions League game in charge of Chelsea. John Terry
and Didier Drogba with a brace were the scorers. We were already
guaranteed top spot before the home game which ended 0-0draw.
Club Chief Execurive Ron Gourlay said:
'It was always going to be tough when you looked at the teams who were
left in the draw. It's a top eight teams, Paris Saint-Germain is a very
tough game but we'll be ready for the first match.
'Our form is good, we've got a lot of games between now and the end of the
season. We're in a good position in the Premier League so we just need to
take it one game at a time, try and win every game and see how everybody
else does around us.
'We will treat Paris Saint-Germain with the utmost respect and hopefully
we can go there, put on a show for our fans and bring it back to Stamford
Bridge.'
The current PSG side is managed by Laurent Blanc and has former Chelsea
defender Alex at the back. Lucas Moura, Edinson Cavani and Zlatan
Ibrahimovic, who is second top scorer in this season's Champions League
with 10 goals, are other well-known players.
After topping their qualification group, PSG beat Bayer Leverkusen 4-0
away and 2-1 at home in the Round of 16.
